2022 Piazza Holiday Toy Drive Recap
The holiday season has come to an end, and everyone at Land Rover Wilmington is happy to look back at the success and generous donations to the 2022 Piazza Holiday Toy Drive! We’re proud to have been part of this community and help every car shopper from Newark to Rehoboth Beach (and everywhere in between!) find their next dream new or pre-owned vehicle. This is why we work hard to help serve our community in any way we can.
Details About This Year’s Holiday Toy Drive
This year, our Wilmington Land Rover dealership teamed up with the Salvation Army of Greater Philadelphia to help those in need. This incredible organization exists to help thousands of local people every day, with this holiday season spent collecting toys for little ones in the area. Each time a customer visited our Wilmington dealership to explore our showroom or have their vehicle maintained, they had the opportunity to drop off a new and unwrapped toy in our collection box. Our team collected toys throughout the month of December before being distributed to Philadelphia-area young kids and teenagers in need.
That’s not all, as our dealership also made a monetary donation. For every social media post publicly shared via Twitter, Instagram, or Facebook using the #piazzapledge, we donated $1.00 towards the purchase of toys up to $1,500.
The turnout was incredible this year, and we’re thrilled that those in the community who were able to donate did so. You all helped make a child’s Christmas more magical and exciting, which is what the holidays are about.
